Since 2017, AAA had offered more than 800 Afternoon Therapy Sessions for children with Autism, in Occupational Therapy (OT) and home-based ABA therapy interventions at a special price.
Even if there is no cure for Autism, Early Intensive Intervention can be very crucial for the improvement of child's development. This can make a big difference in the lives of many children and it's Essential to start working with the child as early as possible. Intensive treatments for Autism's symptoms address the social, communication and behavioral issues of Autism.
AAA had the pleasure of welcoming the President of the 'Diplomatic Spouses Association of Lebanon' Mrs. Gouri Balachandran and the Vice-President Mrs. Sadia Sarker, with other board members at Arcenciel in the presence of AAA President Mrs Ghada Hayek Makhoul, AAA board members Me Colette Hayek, Mrs Maria Boustany Abi-Nasr, Mrs Marleine Mhanna, AAA Project coordinator & Fundraiser consultant Mrs. Magida Samara and Committees Presidents Dr Rina Corbani & Mrs Ghada Mwannes Henoud, along with Arcenciel Director of Center, Mr Robin Richa and HR Responsible Ms Lina Chaccour.

Autism spectrum disorder is a serious neurodevelopmental disorder that impairs a child's ability to communicate and interact with others. It also includes restricted repetitive behaviors, interests and activities that appears mainly before the age of 3. Autism Awareness Association’s mission is to provide information and support for families of people on the Autism Spectrum Disorder by creating the first free ONLINE AUTISM RESOURCE DIRECTORY IN LEBANON; We will seek to directly help parents by providing information and referral to therapeutic services, inclusion and information across Lebanon.
The Autism Awareness Association started offering assessment and therapy sessions. Places are limited.
Meanwhile, AAA is holding parents gathering groups to bring families together and give them a sign of solidarity
and support.
