LIGHT IT UP BLUE for Autism Int'l Campaign

The 'Light it up blue' for Autism international campaign was launched in 2010 by 'Autism Speaks', the largest Autism Organization in the World, in recognition of the United Nations World Autism Awareness Day , April 2nd, in order to commemorate persons with autism and their families, where thousands of iconic landmarks around the world go blue for Autism Awareness.

AAA joined this Campaign since 2016 to raise Autism Awareness across Lebanon and organized many Go blue awareness activities and several Conferences at Schools, Universities and Hotels.

On April 2, 2019, Under the patronage of HE Violette Khairallah Safadi, Minister of State for Economic Empowerment of Women and Youth,
Lebanon's iconic statue and Sanctuary of The Lady of Lebanon -Harissa has been lit up in magical blue, for the third time, to mark the World Autism Awareness Day by the AAA - Autism Awareness Association Lebanon

With the presence of Representative of HE Gebran Bassil, Minister of Foreign and Emigrants' Affairs advisor to Special needs affairs, Mr Joe Rahal Foundation;
Father Younen Obeid, Rector of the sanctuary of our Lady of Lebanon;
Ms Michele Fenianos, Director of the First Lady's office;
Mr Juan Hobeiche, President of Jounieh's Municipality;
Mrs Ghada Hayek Makhoul, President of AAA along with the members of the association and their families and friends.
